For those of you who didn’t get to hear my amusing rantings on the radio, I’m going to be on MSNBC tonight on the Abrams Report at 6pm Seattle time, 9pm Eastern. It’s my first TV appearance. I will likely be much more restrained than my radio appearances.
Freddy finally got a win, even though he didn’t pitch well. Anytime we can come out with a W in a Garcia-Halladay matchup, though, I’ll count my blessings.
I’m sure Ichiro’s throw was impressive and all, but let’s be clear; he does not have the best arm in baseball. Go watch Vladimir Guerrero airmail throws from the warning track to the plate on the fly.
Kent Mercker was picked up for a PTBNL yesterday. The M’s have officially chosen to go into the playoffs with Arthur Rhodes as the only lefty in the pen. Hopefully, that decision doesn’t come back to haunt them.
