Grady Fuson has been forced out of the Texas front office after Tom Hicks decided to renege on an agreement to have Fuson succeed John Hart at years end. As such, Fuson will almost certainly leave the Rangers at years end.
The Mariners should do whatever it takes to get Fuson in the organization. He’s a tremendous asset to any club, regardless of their philosophies, having succeeded both in Oakland and in Texas. He mixes a combination of scouting experience with a respect for the importance of performance and has one of the strongest draft records of anyone in the game.
Hire Grady Fuson.
