Last minute feed signups

We’ve had a small rash of last minute cancellations, so I’ve got seven open spots for the U.S.S. Mariner Pizza Feed on Saturday. If you would like to attend (and, seriously, if you had any idea how much fun we’re going to have now, why wouldn’t you), drop a line to our feed address. These seven spots are first come, first serve, so if you’d like to go, let me know as soon as possible. Details on the event are at the the link above, and I’ll send more information when you confirm your interest.

    Sniffle…I’ll be coming into town on the 20th. It really makes me regret missing last year’s feed. Cheers for such a great baseball forum, sirs, and have a fantastic time.

    So tempted to go to the feed, but I know I will be too busy that day. I hope you guys make this more of a twice a year event or something. I would love to go to them when I am finally home for good from college.

    Also, I know from reading the site earlier this year, do you guys think you will do more of the get to gether at some restarunt/bar and watch games? I think it would be great to get a weekly get together going for certain games or something….although I won’t be able to join them till july…

    I’m sure USS Mariner would have no shortage of volunteers willing to help organize occasional in-season group outings to games — or group takeovers of some of your nicer sports pubs in the area, should Dave, Derek and Jason be so inclined to affix their aegis to such an enterprise.

    I am far, far away and will be unable to make it… but will there by photos taken/posted? I am sure I am not alone in wanting to see some of the faces behind the screen names, especially the USSM trio.

    Dave is an accomplished photographer … but if he is too occupied with official hosting duties, I have a high-quality digital camera and will shoot up the room. If Dave still has his online photo gallery, I’ll send him my pics and he can put up whatever ones he likes … and post a link to it if he is so inclined.

    Last minute opportunity: The friend I was going to the Feed with got sick and can’t make it. If you want to go and take his place, either call me on my work number at 425-888-VINE in the next 10 minutes or so, or look for the guy on the big ugly silver BMW motorcycle in the parking lot, wearing a blue Nicaragua baseball jersey, and you can impersonate my friend for the Feed 🙂
