    How about Ichiro and Winn for Giambi, Posada and Bernie Williams.

    Or we could just start slipping everyone on the M’s aging potion and set fire to a large pile of cash.

    Ok, to be more serious.

    Bernie Williams is the last man the M’s should pick up. Can you imagine him trying to play the wide open spaces of Safeco? Giambi…well, maybe he’s “fixed” now after the horrible after-steroid season (and I don’t think this falls under the guidelines, considering he admitted it) but I wouldn’t bet on it. Posada isn’t useless, but isn’t all he’s cracked up to be.

    Rumblings now that we want Pavano from the Yankees. His rehab start is on the 30th which may make everything last minute.
    Not so keen on that move.
