Game 110, Mariners at White Sox

Jeff Harris makes his first major league start against Jon Garland. Garland, by the way, was a first round pick by the Cubs and then traded away a year later for Matt Karchner. Karchner pitched a grand total of 32 innings with the Cubs over two years, and hasn’t pitched in the majors since. Jon Garland has 61 wins and is 25-years-old. That’s a pretty nice trade, right there.

Jessica Alba is not hot enough to be honored as half a catcher’s name???
That’s it. If I see one more “Dating Tip” from Corcoran I reserve the right to ridicule.
I understand people not thinking Jessica Alba is the perfet woman.
But we have never had a catcher who she wasn’t hot enough to be all three of his names.
Alba Albaalba, if hotness transferred, would be at least Johnny Bench.

I’m sure this has already been asked and answered somewhere else on these pages before, but would I be correct in assuming that, having been activated so late in the season, nothing King Felix does for the remainder of the season will make 2005 qualify as a year of ML service for him? It’s great to see him with the big club, but spending one of his precious pre-free agency years on a lost season would make no sense …

Yes.

Yes.
Corcoran, I can think of few things that would make a sane thought following the phrase “Jessica Alba isn’t hot enough. . .” Perhaps “to date if she was my sister,” or “to rob a bank for,” would work. But “to be honored as half of a catcher’s name”? Huh? What? Have you lost your Van Morrison loving mind? I mean, look at her man!!!
*Sigh*
You dissapoint me sometimes, young Corcoran.
Corcoran is too busy memorizing the rosters of the Texas League to realize how great Jessica Alba is. Heh.
I like a little bit more meat on the bones, personally.
