Doyle’s okay. Or not.

I know I winced when he looked like he pulled something yesterday, but it’s no big deal. Or at least that’s the word on the street. More information as it becomes available.
Soooooooooo information that’s become available is conflicting.
Update update: the conflicting information is in itself bad news.

I’m going for the reverse jinx here DMZ.
i don’t know if this means anything or not, but in ESPN’s gameday statpack it has Snelling listed as today’e left fielder.

Sorry, this is off topic, I know. But as I was checking the M’s website to see if today’s lineup was posted yet (checking against ESPN’s in #53 for Doyle) I ran across this:
Quotable
“I put a little too much on it. If I make a good throw, this game ends a long time ago.” — Bloomquist on his ninth-inning throwing error
Give me a *BREAK*, Willie. The runner was touching first base as you were double-clutching.
KJR just reported that Doyle has gone on the DL.
According to the report, Mariner’s officials said the the knee was worse than first thought but that they don’t know if he tore his acl.
Well, if Bucky Jacobsen is ready to go, then the Mariners should jus’ activate him and slide Ibanez over to left; it’d be more productive than going with Bloomquist in left and having somebody like Choo as the fourth outfielder.
Makes me sad. The guy deserves so much better than this.
The curse goes on.
