Headed for spring training this year? Perhaps you want to check out Baseball Prospectus’ feed, which features Mariners GM Bill Bavasi.
The particulars:
Spring Training Feed and Padres/Mariners Game with Kevin Towers and Bill Bavasi
Sunday, March 5, pre-game at 10 am, game at 1:05 pm
Peoria Stadium, Peoria, AZ
There is a non-zero chance you will see me there as well. More to follow, but I wanted to get this up in a timely fashion.

I’m in.
Thanks Jeff. Gang, if you want to come out for the event (and it should be great), please click the RSVP link within the “Peoria Stadium, Peoria, AZ” link provided by Jeff, and indicate how many tickets you’ll need.
Or you can RSVP directly to jonah_keri@baseballprospectus.com with that same info.
Hope to see you there!
My bad–I meant click the link Jeff provided that says “Baseball Prospectus’ Feed”, then RSVP from there.
PARTICULARS ON BAVASI, KERI, TOWERS – [NWSABR’S Maury Brown forwarded this to NWSABR members.]

Hi Maury, Jonah Keri here. Wish I could make it
tomorrow, but unfortunately got a busy weekend ahead
(as usual).
I did want to see if you’d be able/willing to
distribute this notice to NWSABR members, though, at
the meeting and/or via e-mail. I’m hosting, along with
Bill Bavasi and Kevin Towers, a really cool Spring
Training talk and ballpark event Sunday, March 5. Lots
of M’s fans in the area obviously, could be a fun
weekend trip for people.
We’re not charging admission or anything, people just
need to buy a game ticket (and heck, I do too) and
they get to come in early to hear Bavasi and Towers
hold court for 90 minutes before the game and have a
good time.
Here’s the link on the Baseball Prospectus site with
the info:

All the best,

Bah, I’ll be in AZ the next week. Best of luck with the event.
so, it’s not enough that my chance to go south this year has gone south, I now have to hear about swell BP events doewn there that I can’t attend. So, any chance Towers travels with the Pads to Seattle this May? 🙂
