There were several Snelling jerseys available in the team store a few weeks back -- from the "game-used" or the "used in commercial" racks, I forget which. They were like $350 or so, though.

220, 224 off topic. Are you going to delete your own post, DMZ? :)

Seriously, I have sampled that very item, and I agree with the review and the recommendation. Anyone had a good chard recently?

DMZ that's hilarious!

It makes me remeber how much I wish I had a camera when I passed by that very murial. I mean-- it actually says "Carl"(!) too perfect!

Oh well, I settled for being photographed in front of his jersey in the team store. $220 price tag, I wonder how many of those they sold.

Losing Carl is like making a deadline blockbuster, this division looks more and more winnable each day.

Yeah, extended rest. That works. Except not so much.

I just wish they'd hurry up and put Soriano on the DL, because he's a waste of space on my roto league roster if he's not playing.

Strewth! Good on ya, mate. Crikey, that's bonzer news. I'm throwin' a wobbly here. Everett never stood a Buckley's with us; his bat carked it long ago. Bavasi really came a gutser with that move, but this one's a corker. Doyle's fair dinkum, only a right drongo thinks otherwise. This season's a bit of a no-hoper, but she'll be apples from now on. No drama!

Case in point:

http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/teamReport?categoryId=71598&type=InsideSlant

The Mariners are not sure how much longer they can go not knowing when Rafael Soriano will be able to pitch again.
Tuesday was the fifth consecutive game on the Seattle homestand in which Soriano could not be used. He's suffering from some form of tired shoulder, and he hasn't pitched in a game since July 19 in Yankee Stadium.
The Mariners had hoped Sunday that Soriano would be ready for the Blue Jays on Monday or Tuesday, but he wasn't ready to go either day.

If things don't change, the Mariners may have no choice but to put him on the disabled list. He missed five games in late June 29 and early July with similar problems, and extended rest may be the only answer.

Mmm hmmm. Have to second that Rosemont Estates suggestion. Glad to hear we still have very similar tastes in alcohol, Herr Zumsteg!

Or is Hargrove’s tiny brain such that he refuses to belive minor league numbers or J League numbers mean anything, and he insists on “veterans” to replace C-Rex?

I have no doubt that this is the case.

Talk about learning the wrong lesson from (his own) past.....

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should anyone attempt to untie the yellow ribbon around Doyle's neck.

That is all.
