Was at the game, was a snoozer and there couldn’t have been more than 15k people, even though the announced attendance was somewhere in the low 20’s. Highlights were:

1) Traded my decent season tickets for some seats right above the Ms on deck circle
2) A couple nice plays in field by Raul & Ichiro
3) An even better play by the Japanese tourist next to me, who managed to catch a foul ball using a plastic cup 1/2 filled with popcorn

Too bad the game wasn’t televised locally, pretty sure my wife and I probably made it on camera for the last one.

The game wasn’t on TV in Seattle? That blows. It was a decent game, and any Jays game with Lilly pitching means there’s a chance to watch him punch out John Gibbons.

Safeco was deserted.* There were maybe 30 people scattered through the outfield seats.

* No, I wasn’t there. I watched the Jays’ broadcast. Rance Mullinicks is an entertaining colour guy.
