#87 …the last drive I took, going to Bellingham, then up to Sumas via Lynden and Boundary Rd, and then driving all the way back to Bothell on Rt. 9 (which was terrible after about Arlington).

What with Navy housing and people from King Co. moving up to Sno. Co. to escape the traffic and living congestion, it’s probably terrible north of Arlington, now, maybe all the way up to Mt. Vernon. I’m SOOOOOO glad I moved away from there 4 yrs. ago.

#92. Anacortes = “Annie’s Corset” according to my husband… Forget about Wendy’s if you take Jed’s suggested drive. Just stop at the tribal casino on Fidalgo near the bridge and get some cheap eats and gamble a little.

Corco if you’re looking for a pretty day/drive head up Deception Pass State Park on Fidalgo/Whidbey Island and check out the view from the bridge. You can hit Mt Erie in Anacortes where you’re about 1100ft up and get a 360 view if you walk around to a couple spots. You can see Mt. Baker, the San Juan islands, and the Olympic Mts if you get a clear day. Anacortes doesn’t have a Wendy’s though. Only about 1 1/2 hours or so drive each way.

In the process of (pre-)ordering Derek’s book, I couldn’t help but notice that one of the “Customers who viewed this also viewed…” books is “Using Econometrics: A Practical Guide.” It’ll be interesting to see how those “also viewed” books change as the book gets closer to publication.
