If we ever capture terrorists who are M’s fans, just have the Feds strap them to a chair and watch the last four games. They’ll spill all their secrets!
I have to say, the Good Vidro – the pitch-watching, hitting-in-the-air guy – is so much better than the pound-into-the-ground one it’s ridiculous.
#101 I know I would confess to something if it only meant our guys could start getting some runs.
Normally I would wait until the end of the game to say “well, that game certainly sucked.” But why wait?
nice picture of ichiro in the dugout…you he’s just counting the days to get the hell out of dodge…
#102 yeah the Vidro that doesn’t try to run out grounders is so much better.
vidro scores from first? wholy shit…
so the real question is, is Ichiro going to get traded by mid-season or not!?
real answer… yes
he’s gone…either way…hope we get something for him…
Ichiro for Livan Hernandez. Bookmark this.
Maybe we can geet Creek, Martin and Offerman?
Oh, never mind, Gillick is in Philly
I thought Guillen was going to use the Dark Side of the force, to feel his hatred, to make his at bats better. Maybe some little girl gave him a flower on the way into the ballpark and he lost the hate. Maybe he will use his emotions better tomorrow.
Theeeeeeere’s the towel.
102: Yeah, surprisingly, there are some things that guy can still do
well, guillen did have two hits…
Batista’s ERA went from 8.00+ prior to tonight to a slightly high 8.00+. At least dude is consistent.
can anyone confirm or deny that Batista’s three years are all guaranteed?
#116 oh sorry, I missed that. Maybe it is me, and I should just never watch Guillen’s AB again.
i’m just praying to god that they broke their slump and it’s out of their system…or else ramirez and weaver are meat…
Maybe the next commercial should go something like this:
“Swinging at the first pitch, hitting into dp’s, running ourselves out of innings, putting in fat relievers…C’mon out to the Safe. You never know what fun lies ahead!”
so three late rallies in a row…how about we score off a starter for a change…
no kidding
scouting report on willy-
throw fastballs down the middle
this is ridiculous…
RALLY TIME
looks like it will work out for guillen to hit a slam to take the lead.
was taking out Ibanez and Sexson a good idea?
couldnt write a better story than that… i guess im a bit of an optimist
i’d say at least this is some momentum for tomorrow, but that hasn’t been the case after the last two rallies came up short…plus colon throws tomorrow…ugh…
Counting F-Rod thumbing his cap… that’s two…
i might seem crazy, but did vidro have that beaten out even with a clean catch?
yeah it looked like he was there anyways
so if grover makes no subs, do we win tonight?
well, i’ll talk to you all on monday…maybe i can bring some “funk” to the big A…later…
theres a good chance… but the world will never know, it seems like ichiro and ibanez would have been more effective than bloomquist and ellison… give it to Grover to finally make some moves, at the worst possible time
how many loses would it take for Hargrove to get fired?
I feel like a kid in the backseat kicking father Bavasi in the back of the seat and asking when are we going to get there?
sorry, I am probably missing some vital information about the 9th inning situation, but why was Ichiro replaced? (taking out Sexson / Ibanez made sense given the circumstances but…)
We now officially lead the league in one offensive category (besides non-power hitters making outs on 3-0 counts)
“RISP when the tying run isn’t even on deck yet”
Every morning I wake up and hope today is the day the entire front office and coaching staff get fired. Day to day they keep doing their best to make it happen, but the descision never comes.
Hey, look on the bright side! High Desert just came back in extra innings to beat Lake Elsinore in 10, 3-2, when Travis Scott made his first plate appearance of the year and knocked home the walk-off 2 run single.
