He seems to be a nice guy and all, but that's not what the game is about. My son now believes I have extraordinary powers, because whenever Richie comes up with a man on first, I put my fingers to my temples and intone, "slider down and away; weak dribbler to short" and hey presto, he does it. Rally-killing DP, Every Freakin' Time. So here's my question: what can be done about Richie? Can he just be sat the rest of the season? Broussard's defense is about as good as Richie's, and his offense -- well, hell, isn't just about ANYONE's offense better at this point? Maybe Richie is hurt -- yeah, I think that's it. Maybe he has a season-ending injury. Back strain, or spasms, or something. If he can go on the DL for the rest of the way it opens up a lot of options. Cuz if I see him ground into one more DP, when he's a guy supposed to be driving in runs, I'm going to start losing hair. -JAH I agree about Sexson in particular.
