After the SportsCenter highlights of the game today, they decided to ask John Kruk what he thought the Mariners needed down the stretch. According to Kruk, what the Mariners need the most is not production from 1B, not better outfield defense, and not a #5 starter. The Mariners need confidence. Ugh.

BTW, I apparently finally won the $250 watch by having my texted question chosen on the postgame show today. My line in that regard is akin to that of circa 2008 “Big Sex”–.200 (though small sample size caveats are indeed quite applicable.)

HA! Cara Capuano just said that HoRam loves to pitch on the road. Funny thing is she was serious. It would be nice to have people on FSN who know things about baseball.

Of course he loves pitching on the road. In other cities a much smaller percentage of the people in the stadium realize he sucks. Call it the Dan O’Brian effect.
