USSM on KJR returns
After a one week hiatus, I’m back on the air with Groz at 2:20 pm. You can catch it live at KJR’s website.

Good luck Dave, let the Rick White anger fly!
what time does the arm-wrestling for ‘2 games back’ begin tonight? 4?
“and the team basically took a dump on them.”
Awesome, just awesome. I felt like Groz really didn’t give you an opportunity to openly question McLaren’s moves, although your reference to “the Rick White experiment” was well understood code for that failure.
Hmm, interesting. Groz goes for the future 40, (almost) ignoring the two weeks of suckitude since your last appearance.
BTW, towards the end, when talking about how the season can be viewed two ways, did you really say the Mariners “took a dump” the last two weeks? On air? Without getting bleeped?
Ehh – is the city really lacking for critics of John McLaren at this point? I’m glad I was able to talk about the farm system and some of the things I like about this organization for once, rather than being the voice of doom and gloom every week.
#3 – so I wasn’t the only one who heard that
6: nope…I heard it too. Why would he get bleeped. This is KJR, home of Mitch in the morning spanking Sue Bird as you might recall.
#7– that would be “wagering with Sue Bird” ….
Dave…nice job.
I too have grown tired of the doom & gloom. The future can be bright…I hope. PLEASE.
I haven’t giggled quite so much in a long time. Thanks for taking a dump on the radio Dave !
Really nice job getting your points across. It’s fun hearing Groz actually engaged in an interview topic, and you guys are working really well together. I’m glad you’re doing these.
I suspect there’s a lot of listeners who heard about Truinfel for the first time today. Good for them!
Hey…makes good sense to vary the approach. Keeps the material fresh, which is always important.
(Now, Dave still talks a bit too fast—it’s fine for your Typical Baseball Geek (or SDCN for you old timers), but it makes me nervous as someone involved with performer types….)
I’m listening to the KJR Audio on Demand right now.
Dave…? Were you on a cellphone, or a speakerphone? Your voice faded in and out. I had the sound all the way up on the screen setting (didn’t want to turn my own speakers up or Groz would have blasted my eardrums), and your voice was not clear, and faded off toward the end of some sentences.
(I hope you take this as constructive criticism
)
I hear the mariners called up Jorge Campillo today, does he even have much of a future with the M’s?
