I said "LOOGYs" are easily replaced. Remember, this team is stuck and fixated on it's "role players" mentality of roster construction. Sherrill is a top notch bullpen arm against all comers, but he was relegated to the role of "lefty guy". Replacing what he did against lefties shouldn't be hard at all. O'Flaherty vs LH - .193 / .271 / .228 / .495 OPS Rowland-Smith vs LH - .275 / .322 / .412 / .734 OPS Boom. Done. I didn’t say “George Sherrill” is easily replaced.
