I desire a ’round-table’ discussion with Groz, Dave and Mr. Bavasi.

I really want Dave to rip this team a new one on the radio today.

will they have a podcast available after the interview?

  4. arbeck on April 28th, 2008 2:30 pm

They had it available last week.

I look forward to hearing all the solutions to all the Mariner’s problems 😛

    Yay, it’t not Nascar discussion.

Good point by Dave. Let’s hope the M’s don’t throw out Clement to play first base for the first time in his professional career in front of 40,000 fans.

    Stupid Seattle.

I wager Clement will start as a DH. That would be the safest move and completely justified by Vidro’s performance thus far. You can still use Norton in RF if you want his bat in the lineup.

I missed it, anyone got a link yet? I was busy writing an 8 page paper arguing for Barry Bonds to get a contract in Seattle. College ain’t that bad.

As a USSM reader, I hope you wrote it from the Logical Postivist position.

good job today, great pacing. I don’t think Groz got you comment about Vidro being ‘not good enough to start’, but when starting hitting 5th.

Dave- I was just talking about with my dad about Norton and his quote was, “Oh the guy that the Rockies had pinch hitting for them a few years ago.” Yes, the guy who couldn’t crack the Rockies starting lineup from 2001-2003 is our 5 hitting DH. More depressing is that he won that job from someone.

    This offense is depressing.

The DEFENSE is depressing. The offense is offensive.

On a positive note, at least we have the 2008 Comeback Player of the Year Award winner tearing it up for us at first base. Think Positively!

Dave, do you and Groz talk at all before going live about what in particular you’ll be discussing? Or is it mostly shoot from the hip?
