Ken Levine was awesome. He had a very nasally voice, but he was hilarious. I miss him.

I’m still a fan of Niehaus. Sure, he thinks pop ups are BELTED DEEP TO.. shallow left field, but he’s got a soothing voice. Basically, even as he gets more and more senile I’m still going to love him. He’s like a member of my family, listening to him since I was too young to remember.

As far as Curto goes, never listened to a AAA game (shame on me). I was actually planning to listen tonight, with no Mariners, but instead of I decided to pick up a double at work. Hooray for 16 hour days.

I can’t wrap my head around someone liking Rizzs more than Neihaus.

I can see someone sentimentally liking Neihaus more than Curto (though I would do back flips if they hired Curto), but not Rizzs more than Neihaus – that doesn’t compute.

Of course I personally like – oh man, drawing a blank here – the sitcom writer who used to call M’s games. The guy who worked on M*A*S*H and Cheers… this is shameful. (The not remembering his name is shameful, not the liking him, though others might disagree.)

The Padres just called up a bunch of guys from Portland, with the net result of making the Beavers worse, and potentially making the Padres stronger this weekend. Sometimes that “it’s a small world” stuff is really annoying.
