Benitec, #260: Props to Morrow. For the first time this year he pitched with gusto. That's absolute crap. I assume you missed his May 12th performance? He gave up the winning home run, but he fanned the four batters he faced prior to that in 16 pitches. Actually, most people around Boston picture Washingtonians as a bunch of rain-soaked 145-pound, latte-guzzling, software engineering dorks who swap our short-sleeve dress shirts for flannels and knit caps on the weekends so we can properly bond with the trees and salmon. And that's totally wrong, because we wear our fleece and knit caps to our software engineering jobs.

The idiot who wrote that, no doubt, probably thinks that all of us west of the flippin’ Appalachians still live in log cabins and eat barbecued squirrel as a regular part of our diets.

RE: #278: SoSH is one of the more profane Sox boards out there (they’re on a par with nomaas.org). About this time 2 years ago I got suspended for a year and a half for disagreeing with a ranting misinformed crazed SoSH newbie in a Red Sox vs. Mariners game thread there.

JamesT and other Red Sox fans visiting here probably come from a more rational site.
