ERA in this case would probably tell us a little bit more I think. Speaking of defense, I was watching the Diamondbacks game last night (Randy Johnson was pitching), and the Dbacks had some amazing defense that saved at least a run or two (impressive, considering they wound up winning 2-0). Idea: Replace Rally Fries with player-derived Rally Rocky Mountain Oysters until play improves?

Oooh…Rally Rocky Mountain Oysters sounds like one of those disgusting recipes that James Lileks dredged out of one of those ancient cookbooks from the 1950’s.

I was beginning to wonder if there was a really good episode of Hawaii 5-0 that they are all rushing to watch…

Well, unfortunately, those boneheads at our local RTN affiliate have rotated H-5-0 out for a while in favor of The Incredible Hulk…yecch!
