No, all Wolverines are in lockstep forever. If the current team loses, every former Wolverine fails at whatever important thing he’s attempting that same day. All over the country today there were UofM alums missing golf shots, saying “oops” in operating rooms, and ending their day hearing “It’s OK honey, it happens to everyone.”

Man… Are there any ideas as to why JJ has totally gone in the tank? Unless he’s still hurt or something.. and, if he is, he should shut it down the rest of the year. He is TOTALLY hittable and I have ZERO faith in him as a “closer”.

Surprise no TV announcement = no interest, it looks like.

Not to mention all the competition. Sunny day for the first Saturday in a couple of weeks, last weekend of the summer, Bumbershoot, a pretty interesting Cubs-Phils game on Fox, and the opening Saturday of college football. Puts a meaningless late-season game between two league laggards pretty far down the priority list. It’s not September yet so there isn’t even the dubious attraction of listening to see if a new callup gets into the game.
