A fine spring Felix Day to you

Far away from this horrid wind-driven heavy snow-rain that soaks me in minutes while waiting for my bus, it’s a breezy 80-degree day in Spring Training. And I can get there in time for the third inning or so for $300 on Southwest if I hustle. Of course, for that price, I could go to Mars (disclaimer: Expedia pays me the money that supports USSM).

At least the Felix Day part is for real.
I’m looking out my window at the tree budding out and the cherry blossoms down the street… all getting pelted by sleet and snow. April Fools! Silly, silly plants, thinking length of day was some indication of the season…
Ah, but all will be redeemed if Felix throws something other than a fastball in the first couple of innings….
Actually, they’re probably planning to send out Silva and Batista again, just to get us good.
Morrow should’ve saved his announcement for today. That would’ve kept the press off-balance for a while.
Derek, you need this shirt.
FelixFelixFelix.
it’s warm and the wind is blowing out in Peoria.
Mike Wilson tearing the cover off the ball — 8 HRs is an M’s ST club record? Really?
I guess so, that is what they said on the radio.
Might be worth a trip to Tacoma to see him hit this year.
I wonder if he is going to develop into being able to hit anything other than homers. Is he going to be the next Bucky Jacobson? Or is there a chance he could be the next Jay Buhner?
Wily Mo Pena.
“Wind is blowing out” is right….
2004-2006 Will Mo Pena? Or some other vintage?
The current, not good enough for the majors one.
Ugh. He’s pretty old to be where he is, too. But hey, at least he’s a switch hitter 😉
Awesome Felix. Three home runs in three innings.
Remember those days when you didn’t give up home runs? Those were cool.
at least everyone hit a homer today..
Wow just saw the box score. I take it Felix was ‘establishing his fastball early’ today?
Both teams were “establishing the home run” today.
