Great stuff. I won’t translate the whole thing, but as a public service announcement, the punchline is Ert, you just smashed the floor with your head. I think you have what it takes to be a karate fighter.
Early season days off always suck for me. You wait months and months for baseball to come back. You just start getting back into the swong of things. The team is surprising you with good baseball. And then… pause.
Swong of things. I really need to start double checking what I type now that we can’t edit anymore.
Palate cleanser? Though I suppose my colors could use a good purging.
I needed that…..N.S.C.S. is bringing me down.
“Swong of things”- Yuni’s wrong swings at pitches outside the strike zone. We’ve definitely gotten into the swong of things already this season (I believe the stat was that Yuni swings at 48% of balls outside the strike zone?!).
Ach du lieber, je o je…
Jene verrückten Deutschen!
As a long time reader I use this occasion to write my first post!
LOL, I love Bernie and Ert!
Would be much more funny for you guys if it was in english! There are quite a few that are even better…
Maybe I’ll write from time to now, from now on. I really enjoy reading your blog!

LMFAO I thought it translated as “You just smashed the floor with your head. I think you can replace Yuniesky Betancourt as the Mariners shortstop.” But maybe that’s just wishful thinking on my part.
Um. Okay.
I think I have been scarred for life by this German bizarro world version of Bert and Ernie.
Did each of them always just have one eye? Or is that only in this German version?
Guten Tag! Thanks for writing, B-Sups.
