Game thread the second!

Assuming this game ever ends, FSN that Comcast Sportsnet NW channel will be broadcasting the Rainiers game! Televised PCL action! Called by Mike Curto! Seven-ish!

And if you somehow have never taken the chance to catch one of the broadcasts, perhaps because you’re allergic to radios, this will be your chance. Check it out.

Excellent game. The contributions throughout the line-up were fun to watch (Griffey, I got nothing). Good team effort with very good results.

Welcome back Shawn Kelley…albeit the 2 runs. He’ll contribute to the ‘pen

Anybody care to update the ebb and flow of the game for those of us interested by a few time zones away? I see Lahair continues to do his best Russell Branyan impression.

That should say but, not by…interested but a few time zones away.

It’s channel 179 on Comcast Digital.

I got this strange message from Comcast Sportsnet: “Unfortunately, Comcast Sportsnet is not available through Comcast.”

A few weeks ago this blog said we should go get Ryan Langerhans. My first thought was….”WHO?” Dude, you are a genius. I love this guy!

Went to the game in Tacoma tonite against the Beavers. The fielding was atrocious — Nelson at 1B, Callix Crabbe in LF and LaHair in RF all embarrassed themselves in the field. Nelson’s conditioning makes Turbo look fit. The Beavers, many of whom are hitting below .250, at least respected the game. Now I fully understand why Dr. Z is having a hard time finding infielders and outfielders to promote.

I noticed the same thing when they were playing in Reno. Reno has owned the Rainers all year and I can see why.
