Shields vs. Snell, 7:10.
For those who weren’t able to join us for the event tonight, I’m queueing this up early, so no lineups yet. Behave yourselves.
Bottom of the order, it’s your time to light it up.
Impressed by Saunders.
Can’t believe they pitched to Ichiro! Ohwell. Good results-based decision however by Maddon.
Sorry for those I didn’t get to say goodbye to, was feeling a bit ill. Event was awesome though!
Um, some of us didn’t even get to say hello…..
You know, Rob Johnson is doing himself no favors by calling for all these pitches out of the strike zone on 3-1 and 3-2 counts. What’s that? My sarcasm is showing?
Ugh, ugh, ugh.
I’m just thankful that no one from the USS Mariner meetup suffered any Rally Fry-induced distress and traumas.
Stay safe.
With 9 walks given up tonight, we don’t deserve to win. There’s nothing more aggravating than consistent walks (except maybe errors and allowing a game to be blown open in the 8th).
DFA Olson now!!!
10 runs on 7 hits, that tells you everything you need to know about this game.
Personally I was waiting for Bill Kreuger to burst in and start shouting about bobcats.
Fister is coming in, I wonder if they’d still use him Tuesday or if they’ll use Snell since he didn’t pitch very long tonight.
So, there are about four idiots in the row behind me who have been laughing about Fister’s name non stop since he was announced. Literally non stop.
Make it stop, please.
Well, with all the hype about Fister being a “strike-thrower” and how he’s only walked 11 batters, it was prone to happen that he would through a crazy wild pitch and walk a batter.
What’s funny? Please explain? ESL.
Yeah Carson, try explaining that one to an usher.
Dodgers-Braves are in an extra-inning 0-0 game. They must be jealous of all the coverage the Yankees-Red Sox game received last night.
Brandon Morrow should be back up by the next homestand at the very latest.
As I told Derek as we were leaving, the pregame event was every bit as good as the game was bad. Thanks for putting it together, and thanks to the Mariners for so graciously hosting it. If there wasn’t a game to attend, it felt like they would have gone on forever.
Oh Dave, “And just like that we are even at 3-3″ on Franklin Gutierrez 2 run blast making it 2-3.
Get used to it. Dave says that he’s going to keep doing it as long as it’s fun; and he’s having one helluva time.
[“1 + 1 = 3. Or should I say 2”?]
great event. Everyone had a good laugh recounting the Betancourt trade. Jack was fantastic. The game was a bit of a bummer, but what are you gonna do.
Hard to explain on a family friendly blog. Wait, is this a family friendly blog?
Loved the pre-game event. Really nice to see the passion from the M’s FO.
So do we non-attendees get any hint of what JZ said?
Wak says he’s pretty sure he will give Fister the start on Wednesday vs. CWS.
G-man: give the authors some time to wake up, have some coffee, go over notes, and process things first. It was yet another late-night game for the M’s after all…
Can we start a petition to get Frank more at bats?
Do you mean Tuesday? I just raced to the probable pages, and that is where he’s listed. I bought tickets for Wednesday (King Felix Day), so I can’t imagine they’d bump Felix off of regular rest.
What’s a typical throw-day? The second day after a start? If so, then Tuesday would make sense:
Day0 – start
Day1 – rest (Fri)
Day2 – throw (Sat)
Day3 – rest (Sun)
Day4 – rest (Mon)
Day5 – start (Tue)
