Odds of M’s victory better than 2 in 3 today (-225).

The M’s have a Kendrys Morales problem. Even if you (charitably) grant that they saw something good in him, and that “he is going to hit,” I don’t see putting him in the middle of the order every day while he is clearly struggling so that he can make an out every at bat between Cano and Seager. I don’t even think he should be playing every day until he shows that he can hit.

They are treating him as if he’s Robinson Cano, but just going through a little rough patch.

I really wonder why more AL teams don’t just rotate their regular starters through the DH slot and not keep an everyday DH. You can carry a reserve outfielder and a reserve infielder and just keep everyone fresh. Most teams like to give their guys fairly regular breaks, Abraham Almonte starting 35 games in a row notwithstanding.

The really good DHs carry a high price tag along with the high risk their old man skills will fall off the table – plus there are very few of those anyway. Rather than keep gambling on rebound years from flawed players, why not try a different tack?

Sure. Because the M’s have had such an easy time finding outfielders, infielders, and Catchers who can hit?

You guys are 2 wins away from making someone taking your advice a shitton of money.
