The regular season podcast finale. Hopefully the Mariners will still be playing when I return.

Thanks again to those that helped support the show and/or StatCorner in general last week, and in the past, and hopefully in the future. It’s truly appreciated. And thank you to our sponsor for this episode, TodayIFoundOut!
Thanks for these podcasts. I listened to every minute and enjoyed them all season.
I think you are getting out at the right time. My guess is that next week’s version would have been about how, despite the current outlook, it was a fun first 90% of the year.
As the podcast year ends, it seems we are all back to consensus agreement on Kendrys Morales — he’s terrible. I feel good about that. The consensus part.
Great podcast!
Re: Kendrys batting cleanup…
Kendrys is a career average hitter from the right side (99 wRC+), and in the midst of the worst season of his career.
Seager is a career 90 wRC+ hitter against LHP, and is having the best offensive season of his career.
Not exactly clear that we get any advantage by NOT batting Cano/Seager back-to-back, even against a left-handed starting pitcher.
Against a RHP, it’s pretty clearly an awful idea to put Kendrys in the top 6.
Thanks for the podcasts all season, got me through many different drives.
I love these! Thank you guys for doing them; they have really helped to make 2014 a great year.
You might’ve wanted to end this one about three minutes earlier than you did. 😛
These have been great. Thanks for doing them.
Disagree. Jeff’s hilarious (and strangely pertinent!) ruminations on “kicking the shit” out of something was exactly the right note on which to end.
I also want to chime in and thank you guys for these. I had a lot of drives this summer that I didn’t want to be doing and you at least knocked out an hour of those each week. I appreciate the time you put into them and if it weren’t my food/rent money, I would donate. Hopefully next year.
