Podcast: Everybody Suffers

All the AL West teams suffered, or continue to suffer, from bad stuff this past week. And Oakland and Houston are still located in Oakland and Houston. Come to think about it, Arlington and Anaheim kinda (or mostly) suck too. Man, Seattle is great.

Oh man Saunders already hurt, out till All-Star break in a sprinkler head mishap.
Injuries, organizational ineptness, pitchers parks, not lighting it up when he got a chance. Poor guy, it’s always something.
Was looking forward to seeing what he would do in Toronto over a full season.
Oh man, poor Saunders… Chance to be an everyday, starting outfielder, for a team that really wants him, and has a chance to win the AL EAst– and his Guty-itis flairs up again.
Tore meniscus in his knee stepping on a sprinkler head? That’s just nuts.
Well, that’s one groundskeeper looking for a new job.
In some alternate universe Gutierrez is winning his 4th GG and Saunders is playing next to him in left, hitting 20 HRs each year.
…and Griffey played his entire career with the M’s and retired as the all-time HR leader.
A pro Lincoln-assassination joke? Sarcastic, I’m sure. Still kind of shrinks the importance of worrying about schadenfreude over sports injuries.
