Vargas vs Haren, 12:35 pm.

Yeah, they’re still playing. If Tacoma loses today, the rest of the year will get more interesting, with guys like Justin Smoak and Dan Cortes getting called up. If the Rainiers win, well, then we’ll continue to have games like this.

    Wow – Lopez is now hitting sixth. Couldn’t we slide him to tenth a bit faster?

    The M’s are completely uninteresting except when Felix pitches. I do like watching Michael Saunders grow as a player but he’s not in today. I’ll read about the game later.

    If Tacoma loses today, what are the possibilities of see some at bats of Halman and Mangini??

    I know Halman is not ready, and Mangini is a question mark, but could be interesting for the rest of the way… Mangini could replace Lopez and Halman 3 or 4 games in LF or CF, and Ackley too, (only 3 or 4 games), Dan Cortes and Lueke are interesting too

    Call me petty, but I love how the Angels’ fans have deserted them now that it looks like they won’t make the playoffs.

    Is it me, or has Figgins been hitting really well in this series? Why does he seem to need motivation to do well?

    I guess because no one scraped that delicious piece of gum off the bottom of our shoe there’s no more need to ‘showcase’ him.

    Guti’s part of the future of this team, not Lopez. He needs the at bats.

    Wow, the lineup doesn´t matter, the most important at bats always are for Lopie…

    How different would that inning have gone if Lopez had just taken ONE damn pitch?

    Holy Hair Plugs, Kenny Loggins! At least the casino ads lighten up the games.

    8 comments through the entire game. And they stop 25 minutes into the Seahawks game.

    Armstrong and Lincoln might consider throwing themselves on the nearest sword, but I don’t know that anyone would notice.
