RE: Wilson able to replace Furcal
Digging deeper, Jack Wilson was actually the other guy the Dodgers were after when they got Furcal… So they already had an interest:
“If the Dodgers miss out on Rafael Furcal, they may again look into acquiring the Pirates’ Jack Wilson , according to MLB.com.”

Keep up the energy, enthusiasm and effort on this trade MrZDevotee. We are rooting for you to get it done.
Addition by subtraction could be a very good thing. As you probably know, the Dodgers have money quandaries, so I can’t see them taking on the remainder of the $5M – but I believe you are correct – in that they will be interested. Wilson would help the Dodgers and he can still play SS. He doesn’t fit into our “process” – but he will fit into theirs.

If I turn the entire radio a quarter turn I can eliminate the interference (or enhance it) most nights. Last night it was exceptionally strong though.
I live in north Richland about 100 feet from one of the Christian stations’ broadcast site. It routinely drowns out one of the local NPR stations, but if I turn the kitchen radio on its end I can get OPB out of Hermiston if I want to listen to Prairie Home Companion. Interesting indeed.

Despite The King having one of his worst outings in quite some time, he still manages to get off the hook somehow thanks to the Mesa-Series androids who are currently inhabiting the Blue Jay bullpen…amazing!
