Happy Felix Day, though

May he be backed up with a reasonable lineup as he attempts to prevent a thirteenth straight loss.

Nonsense. There aren’t any lineup issues. All the team needs to do is toughen up

Welcome back, Derek.
You do realize that if the M’s win today, you will be viewed as a good luck charm. We will then plead with you to post daily until the M’s next 12-game losing streak.

It may be rearranging the deck chairs, but if they can’t win one in Boston, another roster move may be the next thing to try to shake things up I’m not talking about the AAA up-and-back stuff, I’d like to see them DFA Cust or Figgins and bring in a veteran like….well…uh…
Oh, never mind.

It sure is good to see you ’round these parts again, Derek.
I’m calling it. The losing streak ends. And Felix owns the Red Sox (again) today.

Lineup issues…more like entire roster issues. You can only dress up a shit sandwich so much, it’s still gonna taste the same.

The hope was…
that Figgens would continue his 2010 last half,
that Gutierrez would rebound from a subpar 2010,
that Bradley would exorcize his demons,
that Wilson would be comfortable at 2nd, until Ackley,
that Smoak would break out,
that Ichiro would get another 200 hits.
Oh, well.
Thank God for Olivo and Ryan, who have managed to not totally underwhelm.
