It really is amazing what he can do with a bat. It is as though he can place the ball anywhere. Wow.

someone should have given him a bat to hold as he tipped his cap..
it is a hit record, right? (so he cant hold up a base).
    But nice fireworks.

What a classy thing to do by going over and shaking the Sisler families hands. Ichiro is simply Awesome 🙂

It was extremely cool to sit there and watch that with my 8-year-old son.

In all probability he will have 4 50 hit months also.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he hits .400 at some point.

Phweh. I’m glad THAT’s over with, so now we can finally say good-bye to Gar.

Here’s a few sketches on my thoughts with all this:

A little rough, but, it’s the best I can do for now. Okay, so no one would ever hire me as a graphic artist. Fine. I can live with that.

I’m going to the game tomorrow. Corporate marketing executives weren’t creative enough. Tomorrow’s promotion SHOULD be: Edgar Kleenex Box Night.

Of course, I’m putting a 1-day moratorium on my fiscal protest, to put the nail in the coffin on this season, and to put the nail in the coffin of the “glory days” of the M’s. Hopefully this ship can be righted quickly and a new generation of Glory will shine.

Again, the torch was passed when Edgar drove Ichiro! in for his 100th run.

With gasping breaths, and quashed optimism, I proclaim:

    GO M’s!!!
