Rickie Weeks, the rotation, some MLB win total over/unders and a whole lot of rambling got into this episode. Prepare, even moreso than usual, for off topic-ness.

Great show! Thank you guys so much for this. I have a lot of long drives, and these are awesome. The last 10 minutes, especially when Jeff decides “Fuck it, I’m doing this” might be the best part of the whole thing.
In regards to the “too-many-words-for-a-simple-story”, I wonder if this is a remnant of the newspaper age, where you had to fill a certain amount of column-inches. I remember in journalism classes learning about the pyramid-writing system, and that was basically a method for making a lot of words of out a single event that was basically described in the first paragraph.
Thank you for addressing Chris Young! I am still so baffled that he is unsigned, but now I better understand why he is unsigned with the M’s.
