U.S.S.M Outing on Tuesday
DMZ · April 15, 2005 at 7:00 pm · Filed Under Mariners
With the home opener rained out (booooooooooo) it looks like we’re going to be all heading down to see King Felix on Tuesday, rather than Monday as we’d tentatively thought.
It’s still a 6:05 game, we’re still planning on meeting up at Engine House 9 at 4-ish for food and beverages before heading over. Join us! Then head over to the game. It’ll be a fun time for the whole… um, not the family. The whole USSM family?
This date may get pushed back further depending on weather. Stay tuned.

A pox on the acursed weather! I had Monday off…*sigh* Have fun kids
Crap. That takes me out.
on the rainers site it still shows felix as pitching monday, they just rescheduled today’s game as part of a sunday doubleheader…?
The TNT also says what #3 just said. A DH Sunday with Felix still on for Monday.
good – i hope it’s still monday… i have classes till 9pm on tuesday but i’m pretty much free any other day of the week (yeah, and it figures that I have two tests and a paper due that day – so no way can I skip if it gets moved to tuesday)
Let’s hope Felix is the real deal in the majors, especially since all the soon-to-be free agents around the league are signing with their current teams.
Ben Sheets is the next one:

The Rainiers have now changed their website to say that Felix’s start is now scheduled for Tuesday. You can’t disappoint the fans and skip Dan Reichert’s long awaited start.

Hi all,
Just in case there are any interested parties out there, the Daily
Olympian today had a story about how the old wooden seats at Cheney
Stadium (Tacoma, where the Rainiers play) are going to be replaced over
the course of this season. The old seats are going to be sold, $75 per
seat (with a discount to Rainiers season ticket holders). If the
allure of owning seats that have been in Cheney for a long time isn’t
enough (it’s enough for me, I’m envisioning a couple of these on my
front porch even now)….these old wooden seats were originally from
Seals Stadium in San Francisco.

seats came from) is here: http://www.tacomarainiers.com/cheney.htm

I know you guys are gonna hate me for this – but I’m praying for a rainout tonight… otherwise – there’s really no way I can go… 🙁
Anyway, hope you’re keeping up on this Jeff, ’cause that’s what’s going to determine whether I’m going tomorrow night or not…
Hope to see you on Wednesday!
