Tonight’s baseball fix

May I recommend Nashville at Tacoma, 6:05 start? Featuring the fine play-by-play of Mike Curto and available on the internet.
Otherise, your only game is Arizona @ Houston if you’ve got MLB Extra Innings. The Bob Melvin-led Diamondbacks are 24-17 and got to Clemens early.

I just noted today that the 24 and 17 Diamondbacks have the same run differential (minus 22!) as the 16 and 24 Mariners.
This suggests that the Mariners are a tad unlucky to be as far under .500 as they are. It also suggests that Bo Mel’s plucky worst-to-first wonders are going to evaporate sooner rather than later.
By McCracky, you’re right!
Quinton McCracky?

Q McC is hitting $1.95. Melvin still has an infatuation with him. Good gravy.
How’s the Tacoma game going? I can’t get my minorleagebaseball.com link up at my office tonight.
Hijacking the thread to tell Derek great job on KXLY radio in Spokane this afternoon. After you were off the line, the hosts continued to say nice things about the USS Mariner, and encouraged people to check it out.

Tacoma tied 2-2 in the 3rd.
Who’s pitching for Tacoma?
Any chance we could convince Melvin to be infatuated enough with Willie Bloomquist to trade for him?
[deleted, not enough cowbell]
So, if we add more cowbell to our posts, will we all be wearing gold-plated diapers?
Seasons don’t fear the reaper …..
FWIW KING TV’s internet site reports that Pat Borders has been acquired for cash and will report to Tacoma.
Never question Bruce Dickinson!
