Spiezio back, Lopez down, Wiki both

Every possible injury Scott Spiezio may have had is now healed, and he’s back with the big club. Jose Lopez has returned to Tacoma, where he’ll play every day.

Wiki “Pedia” Gonzalez has also returned from the DL and been optioned to Tacoma.

Why does this sandfrog character even exist? And more importantly, Why is he taking up precious roster space?

    WHYYYYYYYY?

Now when the Ms go on a 63 game winning streak everyone will say Spazzio’s re-activation was the catalyst.

People would somehow find a way to credit that to Pat Borders…

Agree with #3. Why all the love for Borders? Wiki has been crushing the ball in tacoma. I just don’t buy the belief that Borders pitch calling ability matter less than his lackluster hitting. I’d rather see Wiki get a shot, he obviously has had a weird and bad reputation, but he looked pretty decent for the short time before his injury.

Wiki’s (possible) offense > Border’s (overated) presence behind the plate. ..?!!
And can Boone, bring back Lopez. This team expects to win, yet they insist on fielding a lineup that includes Boone and Borders.

    Two HRs for Lopez.

Thats odd, I watched Wiki play against the 51’s at Cashman Field in Vegas on the Friday Lopez was called up in June. I thought Wiki was already off the D.L.

    Logan,

Rehab assignment, most likely. Or you’re just plain mistaken.

Given the last couple of weeks, I’d say Pat Borders’s game-calling hot streak is an example of a non-repeatable skill set.

In honor of this brilliant roster move, a sewage truck has dumped its contents in front of Safeco Field this morning. I’m not kidding.

Why? Why? Why? ‘sobbing’ (Looks at stats again.) WHY? WHY? WHY? ‘bawling’

Spiezio is no longer a member of Sandfrog. Let’s move on.
