48. Let the mindless profanity, steroid speculation, and author abuse commence!
I think this level of hilarity is appropriate for a funeral.
Well, Byrd can’t pitch against other teams but somehow manages to pitch against the M’s. I guess this says more abot the M’s than anything else. This is probably the lineup for next year. I think we can safely say the M’s will lose 80-90 games next year and Bavasi will be fired.
#53….interesting take……I guess you don’t believe that young players actually improve as they gain more experience at the MLB level, eh?
Well, I know its late but Livingston just had 14 Ks in 7 IP! Oh, and only 3h and 1 run.
Tikistone said:”Vlad, I know Jamie Moyer doesn’t throw very hard, but the message should be delivered the next time you step up. And you deserve it. ”
FWIW, I believe Moyer is of the opinion that if he leaves a ball where it can be hit 500 feet, it deserves to be hit 500 feet.
I don’t think Hansen is the DH of 2006. It’s either Raul with a new acq/Doyle in LF. Or Bucky at DH, Raul in LF.
Otherwise, I’ll take that lineup for all of 2006 in a heartbeat.
#57 I agree, Hanson should be gone next year. I don’t think Bucky or Doyle are the answer. Bucky’s numbers are not very good in Tacoma. As much as I admire Doyle he doesn’t project the power the Ms need and his durability has to be questioned.. We need a LH power guy for LF or DH.
