Saturday book event at Jackson Street Books

Hey, the canceled Third Place Books event is going to be re-scheduled for late next month, it looks like. In the meantime:

Tomorrow at 2pm, I’m at Jackson Street Books. I understand there will be light refreshments served.
On the 26th, next Thursday, I’m in Portland at Powell’s at Hawthorne that evening. Portland wooo!
On the 28th, a week from tomorrow, I’m at Elliot Bay books at about 3pm.

And if you can’t go, there’s no reason not to buy a copy, and we can work out some way to get it signed.

And if you’re read it, please do go out and review it at Amazon or Barnes and Noble — reviews help a lot.

I’m to the part about Gaylord Perry, and so far it’s a great book!

    Good job DMZ!

Thingray – I just started that section too. DMZ, I’m really impressed with this book. Its well written, entertaining and informative. Witty without being biting. I’ll review on amazon and b&n when I get done with it.

Hey DMZ I got the book in the mail a couple of days ago. Any chance of you coming out to Hawaii for a book signing 😉

Just another idea on how to sell your book DMZ. A couple seasons ago you had a column in the Seattle P-I which is how I found this blog. Perhaps another appeareance in a newspapers, with a little blurb at the bottom “Derek Zumsteg is the author of the book Cheaters guide to Baseball and writes for ussmariner.com. might get some more books sold.

USSM readers may not know that Jackson Street Books is at 2301 S. Jackson Street, Jackson and 23rd in the CD.

Thanks, Steve. The store is on the southeast corner of 23rd and Jackson, in the strip mall adjacent the Red Apple Market, between the dry cleaner and the City of Seattle neighborhood center.
