M’s go with their standard non-DH line-up, which includes Lopez hitting 2nd and Turbo banished to the bench.
Hill’s a good arm, but he’s not as good as his ERA would have you believe. Plus, he’s a lefty. And the wind is blowing out. Expect run scoring.
WOOOOOOOO! M’s win, now Grover and the coaching staff get to try to figure out how to piece together a couple of extra arms for tomorrow.

Hilarious game thread. I left to go watch (and drink) at Big Time (where quite a few folks were living and dying through the extra innings) but coming back and reading this after the fact is like getting to watch the game twice. With a bunch of very funny people. Man, what a game.
I don’t know who you call up. Woods last pitched on the seventh, but his line was:
5IP, 13H, 10R, 10ER, 3BB, 0SO, 3HR.
OK, maybe he was having a bad day, but that is a REALLY BAD day.
Feierabend pitched on the ninth:
6IP, 11H, 8R, 5ER, 1BB, 4SO, 1HR
Which I guess is better, and he could do long relief on four days rest, I think.
You want someone on the 40 man? Mateo, Feierabend, Woods, Rowland-Smith. That’s it.
Woods and Feierabend last pitched at Colorado Springs, which is like pitching at Coors Field with the fences brought in to little league depth.
OK. I’d pick Feierabend simply because he sucked marginally less.
We can get by with two pitchers as long as the game doesn’t go into 14 innings, in which case we bring in the next starter – which would be Weaver. At least it would end the game!

This last week has fucking ruled. It’s like someone sprinkled pixie dust on us. We are The Team of Destiny (TTOD).
Yeah, just remember this when the breaks all seem to go the other way. We’ve seen it before (for seemingly entire seasons) and we’ll see it again. But for right now, let’s enjoy it while it’s here.
