Today’s Times mentions that Bob Engle has become a candidate. I’m not sure if he’ll be given a legitimate shot by Howard & Chuck, but just the fact he’s being considered encourages me a bit about the thought process going into this decision.
Hrm.
Well, that’s the one internal candidate that I’m not unhappy about……
Still think they should go outside the organization, though….
What causes the daily movement? Did Woodfork do anything to fall out of favor?
I think that’s explained in the intro there.
What causes the daily movement?
Well, I’m guessing here, but I imagine DMZ gets a beer or two in him and decides to eff with the list just to mess with Geoff Baker’s head and we just come along for the ride. Normally Dave restrains him, but he’s off doing something really crazy this weekend so our collective sanity is left entirely to Derek’s whims.
Selfishly I’m hoping Ng will still be available when we fire LaCava or Hahn in 3-4 years.
Ah, leave Derek’s whims alone. His insight and resources on a bad day leave mine in the dust on a great one.
Thanks for the clarification. I think.
and remember, Chuckster sez “Not everyone mentioned in stories was a candidate and there hasn’t been complete accuracy on candidates who’ve been eliminated, either.â€
If we can’t get Hoyer, then I’d want LaCava (my sneaking suspicion as the eventual new GM). If Kim Ng got the gig, I wouldn’t want to cry about it like I would if they hired some blasted re-tread that’s bombed in more than one job- but I like the resume of Hoyer and LaCava better.
Pelekoudas even at 1% frightens me greatly.
