Radio Interview

Kind of late notice, but I’m doing a half hour interview with some guys who have an internet radio show at 11:00 AM. Click the link here to listen, I think.
And here’s the archive of the show. I think I come in at around the one hour mark of the 90 minute show.
Did the steam cut out mid sentence for anyone else right at 11:30?
Yep.
Missed the start. Is it only streaming live or will an archived version be available? I can’t seem to get it to work, coing in mid-stream.
Yep, it was interesting too. I don’t know if I reached some guest listening limit or if the blog reached a limit.
Seems like a lot of “Internet radio” sites have this sort of problem. Somebody has to pay the bills (bandwidth ain’t free), but it’s usually an awful user-experience, which makes it unlikely I’ll want to have it as a customer-experience.
Oh wait, it’s starting up again.
But Dave was great. I loved how he gave Chuck credit for what he did well while still holding him accountable for what he didn’t.
Thanks Dave. The interview made my morning!
Ditto your words on Chuck. I liked how you mentioned how personable Bavasi is and explaining in a nice way why he thinks as he does. Really Bavasi doesn’t get such generosity from most others.
Good interview, I skipped ahead to the 1 hour mark.
It was a good listen all the way, though obviously Dave’s section captured my attention to the greatest degree.
The interviewer certainly lobbed those questions into Dave’s wheelhouse, almost to an amusing extent.
Tyler needs to work on his craft but Dave did excellent as usual. It seemed like Tyler had an axe to grind with Chuck Armstrong but Dave didn’t take the [bait]. Tyler threw out two questions to bash Chuck Armstrong and Bill Bavasi but Dave took the higher ground. He covered both their qualities and their deficiencies without sounding like a bitter fan. True sabermetric unemotional analysis. Overall an enjoyable interview but I don’t think I could listen to Tyler on a regular basis.
Maybe they mixed Dave up with me. I’m really the designated USSM Armstrong/Lincoln axe grinder.
Very, very interesting. I was surprised at how informed Tyler was, especially regarding the media here. I would have expected him to be up on the M’s, Trades, ownership, etc; but when he mentioned Baker I was surprised.
the interweb is an amazing thing.
