Another good review for Cheater’s Guide
Hey, if you haven’t picked up the book already, the latest Sports Weekly’s got a review, and they loved it.
This book offers a complete, well-researched and entertaining look at every single kind of cheating. It offers both a historical perspective and a practical guide for both players and fans who want to learn to cheat or spot cheating.
It goes on for a while.

A quick reminder, I’m doing an event in Portland at Powell’s at Hawthorne at 7 Thursday and Elliot Bay in lovely downtown Seattle at 3 on Saturday, ahead of the game. It’d be great to see my USSM people.

Saturday book event at Jackson Street Books
Hey, the canceled Third Place Books event is going to be re-scheduled for late next month, it looks like. In the meantime:
Tomorrow at 2pm, I’m at Jackson Street Books. I understand there will be light refreshments served.
On the 26th, next Thursday, I’m in Portland at Powell’s at Hawthorne that evening. Portland wooo!
On the 28th, a week from tomorrow, I’m at Elliot Bay books at about 3pm.
And if you can’t go, there’s no reason not to buy a copy, and we can work out some way to get it signed.

Opening Day USSM Chill-o-thon
Tomorrow, Pioneer Square Saloon (73 Yesler), 1-3ish. I may show up even earlier. Short version of directions: walk down your north-south avenue of choice (1st, 2nd, whatever) until you get to Yesler Way. Look to the water. It’s on the south side of the street.
If you’ve managed to get your hands on the book, I’ll be happy to sign, if you don’t, I may be able to strike a deal to provide one for you. Elliot Bay and your local bookstore should have them in stock, and if they don’t, you should raise a fuss.
