The Nats weren’t fishing, they were trawling.
I still don’t get the Mathews Jr. signing. All the other ones can at least fake like they are good. But just 2 years ago this guy was waiver wire…and then 55 MILLION DOLLLARS!!!! WTF. It just doesn’t make sense. The Angels are normally a well run organization. I guess this balances them out a bit.
